I debated whether to put a seat or cabinets next to the side doors, but eventually landed on more storage. I'm going to attach a swing out bench/ table to the side of the cabinets as well which can be used from the outside when the door is open, or double as a seat on the inside.
There is still over 3 feet between the two sets of cabinets, so accessing the bed area won't be too restricted.
Here you can see the 2x3 I run along the top lip of the steel body (between the extended fiberglass roof). This was a jagged steel jut out and was dead space. With this wood lip now running around the 4 sides I will have a small storage shelf for lights or knick-knacks while protecting heads from the sharp steel edge
