Since this Van had obviously sat a while, I decided to flush the brakes and also drain the transmission. First up was the brakes, and the rear brakes were definitely due (for reference, that fluid should be clear...
Unfortunately, the front brakes were rusted shut. I stripped one bleed valve and sheared off the other... They are still holding pressure, but will have to replace the calipers if I decide to flush them in the future...
Next I took the transmission pan off and drained the fluid/ filter.
With the amount of metal shavings on the magnet, this likely hadn't been done in years (if ever).
While I had the pan off I decided to give it a quick wire brushing to remove the grime from the rim.
It is now the cleanest/ shiniest thing on the under carriage. ha
