#13 - Kitchen Counter/ Cabinets

The van's round shape and random ridges/ cavities has made everything difficult, and trying to figure out how to build out the Kitchen Counter/ Cabinet area was a particular challenge. This past week I drafted up a plan for the frame in AutoCAD and stick built it to fit all the random changes in height and width. This required several adjustments to get it plum & true, but overall it turned out pretty good. I won't finish the siding or cabinets until I make decisions on the sink, cooking source, storage, etc. but having the frame in is going to allow me to work around it and finalize some other things.

Here you can see the beginnings of the cabinets on the left between the bed and kitchen counter. I will build cabinets along the top as well which overhang the kitchen counter. 2x's for this are just laying in place for the time being

Here you can really see the curvature of the van and how the counter and cabinets will extend another 8" or so to meet up with the window/ side. As you can see, cutting wood to fit up between the frame and windows/ siding will be a pain
